| ********************Current Positions******************** CODES: “O” - Position Open “NCO” - Not Currently Open, But Accepting Resumes (Medford, Oregon) Business Development Officer “O” This position is responsible for generating and managing a portfolio of moderate to complex loans. Responsible for originating and administering commercial loans to small businesses. Develops and maintains client relations. Aggressively participates in business development by soliciting referrals from banks, and calling on clients (current and prospective) and other interested parties. Duties and Responsibilities: Loan Application and Processing Credit Decision Making Portfolio Management Loan Follow-Up Ensuring We Provide Excellent Client Service Represent Capital through Visibility and Involvement in the Community Perform Other Duties as Assigned Position Qualifications: 3-5 Years prior lending experience (commercial, small business). A high level of interpersonal skills to conduct productive interview sessions with loan applicants and to solicit new business from banks, and from current and prospective clients. Through understanding of the requirements and features of the loan programs offered by Capital. Analytical ability to conduct an analysis of the applicant’s credit status and recommend alternatives. Excellent oral/written communications skills and analytical skills. Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to function in a team environment and be a team player. (Medford, Oregon) Credit Analyst “O” This is an entry level position and works with our clients and staff in conducting new and updated credit checks by using a variety of credit reporting resources along with bank and trade references. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and recommend credit limits through the analysis of information gathered during the credit checks. Responds promptly and courteously to all client inquiries with as short of a turnaround time as possible. Timeliness is often critical to their decision making process. Maintaining the credit files and our credit information data base. Participation in the development and upgrading of departmental policies and procedures. Participation in the development and achievement of departmental goals. Working closely with the Account Managers or Loan Officers in effectively managing our client’s accounts receivable credit risk. Attending credit seminars or industry meetings when requested by management. Recommending system or procedural improvements. Position Qualifications: Background in credit information gathering and analysis. Data entry background with strong computer skills. Able to effectively handle multi-tasking and changing priorities. Inquisitive nature and attentive to detail. Must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of clients. (Medford, Oregon) Account Manager “O” This is a secondary level position and manages the performance of their assigned clients and their client’s customer base. Ensures that Capital makes every effort possible to meet the cash flow and information needs of the clients they serve. Act as ombudsman or liaison person between our clients and Capital. Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently processing invoices or purchase orders and the required supporting documents. Verifying the authenticity of selected invoices. Assist in credit checking client’s invoices and purchase orders. Consistently performing all billing follow-up calls and related activities. Reduction of client’s invoice agings or average invoice turn-time. Monitoring and assisting in the elimination or controlling of customer concentration levels. Ensuring adherence of customer credit limits. Monitoring client invoice aging categories for changes and trends. Monitoring client reserve balances for compliance and adequacy. Communicating the value, and encouraging the use of, our credit checking services. Educating the clients on the value of our billing follow-up program as a tool to reduce their A/R aging and in increasing their cash flow. Administer client advances, holdbacks, rebates and recoursing as per Capital’s policies and procedures and assisting in the resolution of problems relating to these programs. Obtaining periodic financial statements and agings from our clients, when problems occur, and ensuring that Capital analyzes and reports the results to clients. Sending, reviewing and interpreting the performance reports Capital provides our clients. Acts as the lead person in seeking resolution to any client concerns or problems. Selling all of the features and benefits of our A/R programs to new and existing clients. Processing all client loan requests. Position Qualifications: 1-2 Years experience in dealing with the management of accounts receivable. Strong phone and communication skills. Ability to effectively set priorities and multi-task. A detail and accuracy orientation toward processing data and information. Ability to work at a fast pace in a growing and changing environment. Strong background in computers and data entry Able to develop and maintain a friendly and professional rapport with clients and their customers. |
