Henry Nicholson

Henry Nicholson joined Capital Associates in 2021 as a Development Associate, where he played an integral role in sourcing and closing new acquisitions and development opportunities. In that capacity, he worked across all phases of the development lifecycle: guiding projects through acquisition, entitlements, design, construction, and stabilization. Since transitioning into full-time brokerage in 2023, Henry has advised and represented a wide range of clients across the Triangle region, including tenants, landlords, and investors. His work spans office, land, and mixed-use transactions, with a focus on pairing strategic market insight with strong execution. He continues to collaborate closely with developers and property owners, often bridging the gap between brokerage and development to deliver long-term value.

Prior to joining Capital Associates, Henry spent over five years at CoStar Group on the sales team, where he provided data, analytics, and marketing tools to the commercial real estate industry. In that role, he built and maintained relationships with local, national, and global firms, helping them navigate complex markets and make informed real estate decisions.

A Raleigh native, Henry earned his degree in Economics and Business with a minor in Music Theory from Hampden-Sydney College. He is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and actively involved in the Triangle’s commercial real estate community. He serves on the Development Leaders Board and Golf Committee for NAIOP (National Association for Industrial and Office Properties) and is currently President of TRAOBA (Triangle Area Office Building Association).
